Yesterday was an awesome day doing lots of fantastic activities.

Three groups got to go surfing and the other three groups did activities around the camp including rock climbing, obstacle course and giant swing.

I had never done surfing before and it was pretty hard to stand up on the board. Quite a few students stood up on the board but none of the teachers were that skillful.

Last night for dinner we had a lovely roast pork and lamb as well as crunchy potatoes. The pork was my favourite. We also had fruit salad and ice cream for dessert.

We also got to go for a night walk down to the beach where we used our torches to find soldier crabs. We learnt that they are unusual because they are one of the few crabs that walk forwards instead of sideways. We also roasted marshmallows by the campfire and lots of people had their marshmallows fall off their stick into the fire.

After a big day we all went to bed at about 10 pm.
